Six people have been killed in a head-on collision involving two light delivery vehicles on the R542 between Van Dyk’s Drift and Blinkpan, near Middelburg in Mpumalanga.
The crash occurred on Friday morning, June 5, 2026, leaving both drivers and four passengers dead at the scene.
Four other occupants sustained serious injuries and were transported to hospitals in Middelburg and Emalahleni for medical treatment.
Authorities said the cause of the collision remains unclear and is currently under investigation.
