Kuwait and Bahrain activated their air defenses early on Saturday to respond to aerial threats, the second attack in less than a week amid a fragile truce between the US and Iran.

“Kuwaiti air defenses are currently responding to hostile missile and drone attacks,” Kuwait’s military said in a statement, later clarifying that explosions heard across the country were due to interceptions.
