Muzi Mahlambi, KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education (DoE) spokesperson confirmed there was “a financial investigation” which they were conducting.

He said statement would be issued once the investigation was concluded.

During a peaceful protest on Friday morning, parents said they wanted to draw attention to issues they believed were affecting pupils and the future direction of the school.
