BANGUED, ABRA, Philippines — Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a nurse whose body was found in Sitio Linasin, Zone 1, here on Wednesday morning, June 3.
The victim was identified as Tam-jay Colet, a nurse and resident of Tumalip village in the town of Licuan-Baay, Abra.
Police said Colet sustained 13 stab wounds to the head and other parts of the body.
According to investigators, the Bangued Municipal Police Station received a call from a concerned citizen reporting the discovery of a body in the area. Responding officers found the victim lying along a pathway about 15 meters from a house.
