ABUJA — Activist and politician, Aisha Yesufu, has moved to reassure her supporters following the controversy surrounding her party’s FCT Senatorial ticket, telling residents across six area councils that the setback would not affect the broader political cause she represents.
The reassurance came on Wednesday amid lingering discontent among her supporters over the outcome of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, senatorial nomination process, which denied Yesufu the ticket despite what her backers describe as widespread grassroots support across the FCT.
