The AAC aspirant pledged to be a strong voice for all residents of the FCT, regardless of their ethnic or social background.
An aspirant for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Senatorial seat under the African Action Congress (AAC), Ayeni Adekunle Kazeem, has unveiled his manifesto, promising to champion people-oriented legislation, strengthen oversight of public spending, improve security, and drive development across Abuja's satellite towns and rural communities.
In a statement titled "Voice of the People, Defender of the FCT," Ayeni said the office of a senator should serve the interests of citizens rather than personal or political ambitions.
“The office of a Senator is not for decoration, personal enrichment, or political titles. The primary responsibility of a Senator is to make laws that improve the lives of citizens, represent the interests of the people, and ensure proper oversight of government activities,” he stated.
