The Adamawa State Business Women Support Group for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election has appealed to the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, to intervene in issues arising from the All Progressives Congress senatorial candidature process in Adamawa Central Senatorial District.
Speaking at a press conference in Yola on Thursday, the leader of the group, Bilkisu Song, said members were concerned about developments surrounding the selection of the party’s senatorial candidate for the district.
According to her, the matter requires attention to ensure party unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“Ribadu, we are begging you as your mothers because we don’t want Mr. President to lose even one vote in the Adamawa Central Senatorial Zone. We appeal to you to look into the concerns being raised and help resolve them,” she said.
“We are mothers to Mustapha Salihu and all the other contestants, but we believe issues should be handled in a manner that promotes development and peace. As women, we suffer the most when there are political and physical crises in the country or anywhere in the world.”
