A group of serving senators, members of the House of Representatives, and governorship aspirants of the All Progressives Congress in Kwara State has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to intervene in what it described as a worsening internal crisis threatening the party’s cohesion and electoral prospects in the state.

In a joint resolution issued on Monday, the stakeholders reaffirmed their loyalty to the President and pledged support for his re-election bid in 2027.

They also commended his administration for advancing economic reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The group, however, expressed concern that the APC in Kwara State was facing internal challenges that could undermine its performance in future elections if not urgently addressed.

According to the resolution, the political alliance that produced the “Otoge” movement and ended long-standing political dominance in the state has weakened under the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
