In a petition addressed to the APC National Chairman and signed by its General Secretary, Ajanaku Oluwaduyilemi Joshua, the group urged the party’s National Executive Committee to urgently intervene in what it described as a deepening political crisis within the party in Ondo State.
A group known as the APC Vanguard for Tinubu Re-election in Ondo State has accused Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of actions it claims are undermining the unity of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state and jeopardising President Bola Tinubu’s chances in the 2027 general elections.
In a petition addressed to the APC National Chairman and signed by its General Secretary, Ajanaku Oluwaduyilemi Joshua, the group urged the party’s National Executive Committee to urgently intervene in what it described as a deepening political crisis within the party in Ondo State.
The group alleged that events surrounding the party’s ward congress and ongoing primaries had created divisions among party members and weakened internal cohesion.
According to the petition, the crisis began during the ward congress held in February 2026.
