Heavy snowfall is currently being observed over Sani Pass.
Sani Pass, a key route renowned for its scenic views and challenging terrain, has been closed due to heavy snowfall and dangerously hazardous driving conditions.
Effective immediately, travel through this pivotal mountain pass has been deemed unsafe for all vehicles.
According to the Storm Report SA, snow accumulation and reduced visibility have made the pass unsafe for all traffic.
"Do not attempt to travel the route. Conditions may change rapidly. Further updates will follow as authorities assess the situation. Stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel into affected mountain areas," said Storm Report SA on Facebook.
