The 51-year-old businessman from Summer Greens was kidnapped a week ago.
Nine suspects are set to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, facing an array of charges including kidnapping, robbery and extortion.
The suspects were arrested on Friday, May 29, and Monday, June 1, by members of the Anti-Kidnapping Task Team.
The provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Novela Potelwa, said the 51-year-old businessman from Summer Greens was kidnapped a week ago.
Potelwa said the nine suspects were arrested in Khayelitsha and Saldanha.
