Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, warned that continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon could trigger serious consequences for both Israel and US forces in the region.
In a post on X, Azizi wrote: “If the attacks against Lebanon do not stop completely, the consequences will be severe for the Zionist regime and US forces in the region.”
He added: “They are fully aware that this is not an empty threat, and we are prepared for a military response.”
