MANILA, Philippines – JTI Philippines is purchasing an additional 3.32 million kilograms of tobacco leaf from local farmers in a move to address oversupply in the industry.
JTI Philippines said the latest transaction forms part of its regularly programmed annual purchases and will help absorb excess supply in the market.
