A faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has named businessman Chris Uba as its presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections, following the conclusion of its nationwide primaries.

On Sunday, the Bala Gombe-led faction also presented party flags to 29 governorship candidates spread across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, The PUNCH reports.

Speaking at the formal unveiling in Abuja, Gombe, the factional National Chairman, explained that the presidential ticket had been zoned to Southern Nigeria in line with the ADC’s principles of equity, fairness, inclusiveness, and federal character.
