ASABA – A faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Delta State chapter, on Monday declared serial aspirant, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru as its candidate for 2027 governorship election in the state after an earlier primary produced United Kingdom (UK) lecturer, Dr. Emmanuel Unuafe as candidate.
Three days earlier, 2nd May, Mr. Austin Okolie chaired ADC in Delta had announced Dr Unuafe, Senior lecturer at Arden University, UK, as the party’s candidate in a primary decided by consensus at state secretariat of the party in Asaba.
