A woman from the Republic of Benin has tearfully appealed to authorities and concerned Nigerians to help secure the release of her child, identified as Kehinde Kaosara, abducted during a recent attack on schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

In a video seen by SaharaReporters, the distraught woman, who said she had come to Nigeria to work and build a better future for her children, recounted how the attack unfolded after her children left for school.

“I bathed for my children and they went to school. I was preparing food so that when they returned from school, there would be something for them to eat. Suddenly, I saw gunmen and we all ran to hide. Then I saw my child with them, he wore a red tight,” she said.

She said she had no immediate family support in Nigeria and pleaded with the government to intervene urgently.
