Study launches to assess blood tests for early cancer detection

A national pilot study designed to determine if blood tests can help detect cancers earlier is open for enrollment.Results of the Vanguard Study — which will include up to 24,000 people — also will provide insights into the feasibility of evaluating multicancer early detection (MCED) tests in larger randomized controlled trials.
