On December 15, 2025, Samson Oladipupo boarded a RwandaAir WB305 Boeing 737-800 flight from Dubai to Lagos, eager to return home after six years abroad.
The journey was meant to mark a joyful milestone as he prepared for his wedding.
But within hours of landing at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, what should have been a celebratory homecoming turned into a stressful ordeal.
According to Samson, passengers on the flight were informed on arrival that their luggage would not be available until the next day.
The delay, he said, was frustrating but initially manageable until he returned to the airport to retrieve his bags.
