An international police cooperation has led to the dismantling of a Greece-based ring that sold luxury cars stolen in the Greater Athens region and in Italy, authorities said Friday.

Six stolen cars have been seized, with a total value of €250,000.

A police statement said three Greeks and a foreign national face charges including membership of a criminal organization, aggravated theft and forgery. Another four people face lesser charges in connection with the case.

The suspects were active between late 2024 and February 2026, and allegedly took delivery of the stolen vehicles, changed their identification serial numbers, made fake documents for them and sold them through a dealership on the island of Evia, or via online adverts.
