Noted artist and retired professor V. Ramesh inaugurated “Resonant Spaces”, the annual exhibition of Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) students of Andhra University, on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the creative expressions of young artists have the potential to generate new ideas and perspectives in society. Appreciating the art works on display, he said that the exhibits reflected the students’ artistic maturity and called for the creation of a dedicated art gallery to encourage young talent and strengthen the city’s cultural landscape.Addressing the gathering, Andhra University Vice-Chancellor G.P. Raja Sekhar said, “The annual cultural showcase by the final-year BFA students creates awareness about fine arts. During this peak summer, it is a good place to relax and witness art pieces that appeal to our senses and minds.”
