The Department of Chemical Engineering at Andhra University College of Engineering (Autonomous) organised a guest lecture on “Higher Education and Research in Chemical Engineering” in Visakhapatnam on Thursday. Bontha Jagannadha Rao, who holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University, U.S., spoke on higher education, research and interdisciplinary skills.He highlighted the role of chemical engineers in semiconductor manufacturing, materials development and sustainable practices, besides outlining career opportunities in the sector.
