PNP: Senators ‘know the consequences’ if they helped Bato Dela Rosa flee

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday said senators “know the consequences” if they are proven to have helped Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa escape law enforcers.

The PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) earlier filed an obstruction of justice case against Sen. Robin Padilla and at least five other individuals over Dela Rosa’s departure from the Senate in the early hours of May 14.

However, the CIDG said more individuals may be implicated over dela Rosa’s escape depending on their investigation.
