MANILA, Philippines — Interior Chief Jonvic Remulla said Friday that his department was considering a reward for the arrest of fugitive Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued a warrant of arrest against Dela Rosa in connection with his alleged participation in former President Rodrigo Duterte’s bloody war on drugs.
As the search for Bato dela Rosa enters its second week, asked whether the government was considering a reward for his capture and arrest, Remulla told reporters in Camp Karingal in Quezon City, “That’s possible. We are considering that.”
“But, apparently, it is not effective yet. But, apparently, it is not effective yet. So, we’ll see what needs to be done,” the DILG chief further said.
