Sandeep Patil, senior IPS officer, took charge as the Inspector-General of Police, Northern Range, in Belagavi on Thursday.Chetan Singh Rathore, who has been appointed as Inspector-General of Police, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), handed over charge to Mr. Patil at the IGP’s office.A 2004 batch IPS officer, Mr. Patil has served as Superintendent of Police, Belagavi, in the past.
