MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines is now transitioning towards the rainy season, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Thursday.
In its latest weather forecast, Pagasa said the country may experience more frequent rains and thunderstorms in the coming days as it transitions toward the nearing rainy season.
“We expect thunderstorms to become more frequent at any time of the day as the country transitions toward the rainy season or the approaching rainy season,” weather specialist Loriedin dela Cruz-Galicia said in Filipino.
