MANILA, Philippines — More changes regarding committee leadership roles have been approved by the House of Representatives, as the chamber looks to adjust its composition eight months into the term of Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III.

Before the session adjourned late Tuesday night, Deputy Majority Leader Arnan Panaligan moved for the election of Nanay party-list Rep. Florabel Yatco as chairperson of the House committee on welfare of children, replacing Ako Ilocano Ako party-list Rep. Richelle Singson.

With no objections, the motion was approved by Deputy Speaker Kristine Singson-Meehan, who was presiding over the session.
