TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol — Bohol 2nd District Rep. Maria Vanessa Cadorna-Aumentado was among several lawmakers replaced as committee chairpersons following a reshuffle of House leadership and committee assignments.
Aumentado was replaced by Batangas Rep. Aniela Bianca Tolentino, who previously chaired the House committee on climate change.
In a statement on Wednesday, Aumentado acknowledged that some decisions are never easy.
“No regrets. I accept every consequence that comes with choosing what I believe is right—listening to the sentiments of the majority of my constituents,” Aumentado wrote in a Facebook post.
