Image: Antti Kolppo / YleYle News10:20The National Institute for Health and Welfare, THL, is keeping its recommendations for Covid-19 vaccinations largely unchanged for next autumn.THL recommends Covid vaccinations for people aged 80 and over, individuals with severe immune deficiencies, residents of long-term care facilities, people in family care, and those receiving regular home care services.Regional wellbeing services counties may also offer vaccinations to people aged 75–79, as well as adults over 18 with multiple underlying conditions that increase the risk of severe Covid-19.THL recommends beginning the vaccination campaign no later than the start of the annual influenza vaccination programme.Flu vaccines will once again be offered to children under seven, adults aged 65 and over, pregnant people, and individuals whose medical condition or medication places them in a risk group.
