Air New Zealand is changing its flight schedules over a three-month period to manage fuel availability amid an ongoing jet fuel crisis.
The consolidated schedule will affect travel between August and October, with the airline altering flights earlier to provide passenger certainty rather than making last-minute cancellations.
Fewer than 2% of passengers travelling during this period will be affected by the consolidations, which have been targeted to minimise disruption.
An Air New Zealand spokesperson said the vast majority of affected passengers would still be able to travel on the same day.
Millions of seats remain available for booking on both domestic and international routes.
