Air NZ has announced it will cut another 5% of its flights, but experts warn it won't be the last airline to do so.

The changes cover travel from late July to late October.

It says less than two percent of travellers will be affected, with the "vast majority" still able to travel on the same day.

An airport industry group says further cuts to Air New Zealand's schedule is another blow for the regions.
