Coronation Street fans were horrified to see Megan Walsh reappear in a set of "creepy" scenes as the extent of her abuse towards Will Driscoll carried on during Monday's episode20:50, 25 May 2026Coronation Street fans were horrified to see Megan Walsh reappear in a set of "creepy" scenes that aired in Bank Holiday Monday's episode. The disgraced teacher, played by Beth Nixon, has been at the centre of a controversial storyline in which she groomed her teenage student Will Driscoll into an illicit relationship. After the whole thing came to light, Megan was arrested and subsequently released on bail after being charged, all while Will has tried to come to terms with what has happened to him.On the latest instalment of the world's longest-running TV soap, Will was seen in distress as a video of Megan having a milkshake thrown over her began to go viral. Back at the Rovers, his dad Ben and stepmum Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) were discussing how "damaged" he had become since the whole ordeal, but Will overheard them and flew into a rage.READ MORE: TV legend to receive special honour at the British LGBT AwardsREAD MORE: Coronation Street fans 'appalled' as Tyrone Dobbs makes 'despicable' moveTo add to Will's turmoil, viewers will know that schoolboy Sam Blakeman, who was the first to work out what was going on with Megan, has been having hallucinations in which he imagines that Will is threatening him violently. Sam marched up to Will in the cafe and accused a dumfounded Will of being "evil" as he stormed out, later hitting the bottle to cope with things. He stood on the shop yard scaffolding, swigging vodka relentlessly.Paramedic Asha Alahan tried to talk him down, but in the end, it took for Will's no-nonsense grandmother Maggie (Pauline McLynn) to climb up herself and talk to him, whilst Eva, Ben, and Will's stepsister Susie watched on, just as Will's school friend Hope Dobbs (Isabella Flanagan) appeared on the scene. Once he was down to safety, she promised she wouldn't mention a word of the whole drama at school and Eva suggested they all go back to the pub.But later that night, just as Will was emptying the bins from his family's pub, Megan emerged, having been watching him in secret, with her hood up to avoid suspicion. She grabbed his arm and said: "Will. I've missed you!" and was slightly taken aback when he refused to have anything to do with her.She begged: "I'm sorry that you felt like that, but I thought we were in love! We can still be friends!" as Will told her in no uncertain terms to go away. Neither of them realised that a shocked Hope had been watching the whole thing play out, and quickly made herself scares as she fled the scene.Taking to social media to react to Megan's latest actions, one fan wrote on X: "Hurry up and lock Megan up ffs!" whilst another said: "It’s nice that Hope is trying to offer support to Will. I’m glad she saw Megan trying to harass Will, so she can’t lie and claim she didn’t. And I’m even more glad to see Will slag Megan off and start to take his power back."Another raged: "Megan being such a f****** creeper watching the situation, only so she can try and pray on Will’s fragile mental state again I bet."Other fans also think that a relationship could be about to begin between Hope, who was born to Fiz and John Stape during the tram crash storyline as part of the programme's 50th anniversary in December 2010, and Will.Article continues belowOne said: "Why do I feel like they're gonna try putting Hope and Will together #corrie" Another said: "Hope trying to be a little flirty with Will there?"Coronation Street airs Monday to Friday at 8:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream from 7am on ITV X.* Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .
