A provincial investigation is underway after inmates at an Ontario jail were given used razors, potentially exposing them to disease and infection.
Inmates in at least one unit of the Central North Correctional Centre, located about an hour north of Barrie, in Penetanguishene, were informed by letter on Jan. 14 that they had been issued razors, “that had been previously been used by another person,” according to ministry correspondence obtained by the Star.
