SC clarifies no ruling yet on Dela Rosa petition on ICC jurisdiction

MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court on Sunday clarified that it has yet to rule on the main petition filed by Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa regarding the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) jurisdiction in the country.

According to the SC’s statement, only the denial of the temporary restraining order (TRO) requested by Dela Rosa has been issued, with the individual opinions of the justices on that specific motion still set to be uploaded on Monday, May 25.

“There is still no decision on the main petition, as stated in the Court’s press release last Wednesday,” the SC said.
