MANILA, Philippines — With the Supreme Court’s (SC) refusal to temporarily stop the enforcement of the International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant of arrest, the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) said local and international authorities can already implement it against Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.
Voting 9-5-1, the SC denied dela Rosa’s interim relief of a TRO while his main case is pending.

“The court’s denial of the TRO (temporary restraining order) affirms that there is no legal impediment to the enforcement of the ICC warrant,” the OSG said in a statement Thursday.
