The reporter was then seen quickly diving for cover in the media tent, which was outside on White House driveway.‌Recalling the horrifying moment, Wang said: "I was in the middle of taping on my iPhone for a social video from the White House North Lawn when we heard the shots. It sounded like dozens of gunshots. We were told to sprint to the press briefing room where we are holding now."The White House went into lockdown for an hour after shots were heard being fired. Other journalists were also at the White House at the time of the shooting, around 6pm on Saturday.‌Photos from inside the building showed reporters locked inside as they looked through windows at the White House to see the Secret Service response.A bystander was struck during the shooting and was in a critical condition. A law enforcement official said it was not clear whether that person was hit by bullets from the suspect or officers.‌The Secret Service said none of its officers were injured and that Trump, who was at the White House at the time, was not "impacted".
