00:31An ABC News reporter ducked for cover as gunshots rang out near the White House on Saturday (23 May), when a gunman opened fire at a security checkpoint.A person approached the checkpoint at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, pulled a weapon out of his bag, and began firing, according to a Secret Service statement posted on social media.
