The House of Representatives candidate of the African Democratic Congress for Ondo East/Ondo West Federal Constituency in Ondo State, Mr Niyi Akingunola, has stated that the state is being challenged by ineffective representation at the National Assembly.
Akingunola, however, said the only solution to the problem was for the people to elect credible and competent individuals to represent them in the forthcoming 2027 National Assembly election.
He stated this in Ondo town on Friday after he emerged as the ADC House of Representatives candidate for Ondo East/Ondo West Federal Constituency.
According to him, representation at the National Assembly should go beyond mere political appearances and instead focus on lobbying for measurable impacts and policies that directly improve the lives of constituents.
