A Superintendent of Police, Musa Muhammad Adamu, who was shot five times while serving Nigeria during a security operation against bandits in Kaduna State, has cried out to Nigerians and the Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, over abandonment by the Nigerian Police Force despite his worsening medical condition.

Adamu, a Mobile Police officer attached to special operations, said he is currently battling life-threatening complications after surviving the gun attack by terrorists in 2021, adding that he urgently needs financial assistance to return to India for multiple surgeries.

The officer, who said he has undergone several unsuccessful surgeries since the attack, lamented that despite risking his life for the country, authorities have ignored repeated pleas for help.

In a video posted by BiaPulse and seen by SaharaReporters, the visibly weak officer was seen emotionally appealing to Nigerians, human rights organisations, government officials and well-meaning individuals to save his life.
