Over 100 royals from various African cultural kingdoms and traditional institutions have arrived in Uganda ahead of African Liberation Day, commemorated annually on May 25 to celebrate African heritage, culture, and the continent’s liberation journey since 1963.
The royals and guests of African descent are attending an inter-university symposium at Makerere University focused on preserving African values, traditions, and cultural heritage, before participating in a business summit and gala later at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
