CALAPAN CITY, ORIENTAL MINDORO, Philippines — The local government here has formally received 14 school building projects designed to address the growing demand for classroom spaces in public educational institutions across the city.

The turnover of the infrastructure projects was formalized through the signing of a supplemental Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Department of Education (DepEd) and the City Government of Calapan.

DepEd Assistant Secretary Aurelio Paulo Bartolome represented the national agency and Calapan City Mayor Paulino Leachon for the local government.
