CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Some 250 students across Oriental Mindoro province each received P20,000 in educational assistance on Wednesday under the national government’s “Bawat Bayan Makikinabang” presidential scholarship program.
In a ceremony on Wednesday at the Naujan Sports Complex, Executive Secretary Ralph Recto said the program embodies President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s goal of opening more opportunities for Filipino youth and lightening the financial load of households.
