Ukrainian forces engaged in 177 combat clashes with Russian invaders on the frontline as of 22:00 on Wednesday, with the highest number of enemy attacks repelled on the Pokrovsk axis, where the enemy lost more than 40 personnel.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a situation update published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Since the beginning of the day, there have been 177 combat engagements in total. The enemy carried out one missile strike, using one missile, conducted 72 airstrikes, and dropped 230 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 5,558 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out 2,297 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian positions," the military said.
According to the General Staff, on the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, three clashes were recorded. The enemy carried out two airstrikes, dropped seven guided aerial bombs, and conducted 66 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian positions, four of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions once in the area of Starytsia.
