Ukraine needs a new strategy for economic recovery and development that takes into account the realities of the current war.
This was emphasized by the head of the Office of the President, Kyrylo Budanov, during an online meeting of the International Advisory Group on Investment Attraction and Economic Development in Ukraine, according to Ukrinform, citing his Facebook page.
"Ukraine needs a new strategy for economic recovery and development that takes into account the realities of the current war. Our task is not simply to restore what has been lost during this time, but to build a new economy for Ukraine. One that is strong, competitive, attractive to investors, and capable of ensuring the long-term stability and development of our state," Budanov noted.
He reported that, under the chairmanship of the President of Ukraine, a comprehensive strategy for Ukraine’s economic transformation—one that will ensure fiscal self-sufficiency and growth—was discussed by a broad group of stakeholders.
According to Budanov, the Office of the President is taking on the coordination of drafting this final unified document.
