Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has announced that former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, has withdrawn from the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries in Gombe State, citing alleged breaches of the Electoral Act 2026 and irregularities in the party’s nomination process.
Ahmad disclosed this in a post on his X handle on Tuesday.
“Prof. Isa Ali Ali Pantami has withdrawn from the APC governorship primaries in Gombe State, citing alleged breaches of the Electoral Act 2026 and irregularities in the electoral process,” he wrote.
