According to information received by IranWire, one of the protesters detained in Nurabad Mamasani is a 29-year-old man named Mosayeb Shafiei.
Mosayeb Shafiei, who has publicly voiced his opposition to the Islamic Republic regime on numerous occasions, was arrested on March 7. His detention took place following the outbreak of the war involving the United States and Israel, amid a total digital blackout and a complete lack of information flow, after which he was transferred to an undisclosed location.
Informed sources state that the arresting agency was the IRGC Intelligence Organization. Following interrogations and the extraction of a forced confession, he was transferred to Adelabad Central Prison.
The charges attributed to this “monarchist” youth have been stated as “assembly and collusion against national security” and “insulting the Supreme Leader.”
Despite more than two months having passed since Mosayeb Shafiei’s arrest, no trial has yet been convened for him. However, civil activists have expressed deep concern over the potential broadcast of his forced confessions, which are said to have been extracted under pressure and torture.
