Cairo University Discusses Matching Majors with Jobs

Cairo University has held a forum for experts, academics, and employer representatives to match its university majors to job opportunities.

After the forum Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, the university president, announced that permanent committees would match academic programmes to job opportunities across all departments of the university sectors. Practical training would also become mandatory before graduation.

There would also be an emphasis on the skills of the future by integrating digital transformation, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills into the core curriculum for all students.
