Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano has formally informed colleagues that the chamber will convene as an impeachment court on Monday to begin its “consideration” of the articles of impeachment against Vice President Sara Duterte, which were transmitted by the House of Representatives earlier in the week.
In a letter dated May 15, Cayetano said the Senate had received the House resolution containing the articles and its annexes on May 13.
