A startling incident occurred in Hollywood where a snake handler left behind his reptiles on the Walk of Fame while running away from police, local authorities said. The news was shared by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division on May 6, 2026 (Wednesday) In a post on Instagram, the LAPD informed about a run-in with a man who was “parading exotic snakes around for tourist money” along the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The social media post was set to “La culebra” by Banda Machos. The song translates to “Watch out for that snake!”A photo which was shared in the post showed “Snake Señor” walking in front of the Hollywood Wax Museum. He was seen with a huge yellow and white boa constrictor wrapped around his body.“Hollywood VICE officers hit the Walk of Fame today and found a man parading exotic snakes around for tourist money….When officers tried contacting him, our “Snake Señor” slithered away on foot and left the reptiles behind. Nice try, compadre. The snakes were safely rescued by officers and delivered to Los Angeles Animal Control. Looks like the only thing getting squeezed today was his escape plan,” LAPD Hollywood said in an Instagram post.At the time the report was filed, the Los Angeles Police Department had not released any additional statements or details about the incident. Images shared by authorities showed several snakes coiled together inside a large crate positioned in the back of a police vehicle.
