A coalition of 52 civil society organisations has called for the immediate release of the Certified True Copy of the judgment reportedly obtained by officials of the Department of State Services against Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project.
Among the signatories to the statement were Amnesty International Nigeria, ActionAid Nigeria, BudgIT Foundation, Centre for Democracy and Development, Media Rights Agenda, Yiaga Africa, and Transition Monitoring Group.
They warned that delays in making the decision publicly available could undermine judicial transparency, civic freedoms and constitutional democracy in Nigeria.
