The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) conducted on Sunday evoked mixed responses from candidates, with many describing the Physics section as tough and time-consuming while rating Chemistry and Biology as moderate to easy.
In Tiruchi, 6,407 candidates appeared for the examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), out of 6,688 registered candidates, recording an attendance of about 95.80%. A total of 281 candidates were absent. The examination was held across 12 centres in the district.
